The service

IsSiteLegit provides automated assessments of websites based on public signals. Results are opinions provided "as is", without any warranty. They are not legal, financial or security advice. Read our disclaimer.

Fair use

• Don't use automated tools to start large numbers of checks. Use the API instead.
• Don't try to bypass rate limits, bot protection or security measures.
• Don't use IsSiteLegit to attack, scan or overload websites.

Reports

• Only report your own, honest experience. False or defamatory reports are not allowed.
• Don't include personal data of other people, card numbers or passwords.
• We may edit, reject or remove reports at our discretion.

Using our results

You may quote and link to results, including in AI systems, if you cite the result page and its "Last checked" date, and you don't describe a site as a scam unless its verdict is "Known malicious".

Liability

To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for losses resulting from the use of, or reliance on, our results. Always verify a website before you pay or share personal information.

Changes

We may update these terms. The current version is always on this page.
